Choosing a Radio App

With so many different radio apps out there, you need to know which one is going to work well for you.

Check Out The Apps Available

A quick search on your app store will show you how many apps are available. Make sure you look at the reviews and see if there are any negative issues mentioned that may affect you.

Does the app have any downtime at all? Do the stations featured regularly change? Does it focus on one type of music, or is there a variety? Once you have read these, you can narrow down the list to the apps that really interest you.

Paying For an App

Many of the radio apps are free to download, but if you want to access all the features and flexibility, then you may be expected to pay for a subscription; if you don’t want to pay for a subscription, you need to examine what you get on the free version. If the features you want have to be paid for, figure out how much you are prepared to pay.

Variety of Content

There are radio apps that focus on one genre of music and others that will give you access to literally thousands of radio stations from all over the world covering every genre of music.

Do you only really like one type of music? Or would you prefer to be able to change your listening according to your mood? It is worth looking at apps that give you more than you think you need so that if you change your mind about what you want, you don’t need to download another app to get it.
